Help Save Stuey!!

Stuey 5_10

UPDATE 5-10-14:

Here is an update from foster mom, Kelly.. “Stuey has been able to be out of his crate for almost a week now. He is thoroughly enjoying being a dog again. He loves socks more than any toy, and he has been making friends everywhere he goes. He is still scared of cars and doesn’t like being walked by busy roads but hopefully in time this will change. He is a super dog.”

Stuey is healing up!! His splint is off and he is able to go on gentle walks now!! His pelvic fracture is healing a bit slower but it is healing.

Because of his extensive injuries, SPOT is fundraising to help with his upcoming medical bills. If you are able to donate to SPOT and help with Stuey’s recovery, please click on the the “Yellow” donation button below.

SPOT has the BEST supporters and with that love and generosity, Stuey will make a full recovery and will soon have a new family to love.

UPDATE 4-26-14:

Stuey had an X-ray on his leg and pelvis on Tuesday. His leg is healing well, but the pelvis is still giving him trouble. He is resting in a loving foster home for continued crate rest. Stuey will have another X-ray in 4 weeks and we’re hoping he won’t need surgery on his pelvis.

Because of his extensive injuries and possible surgery, SPOT is fundraising to help with his upcoming medical bills. If you are able to donate to SPOT and help with Stuey’s recovery, please click on the “Yellow” donate link below.

CAN YOU HELP SAVE STUEY?

Stuey is a 6 month old, 9 lb. male Doxie mix puppy that was just rescued from a local shelter after being relinquished by the family he loved after he was hit by a car in front of them. Stuey has a broken rear leg and a possible broken pelvis. His family couldn’t afford his treatment at the vet so they brought him to the shelter to be euthanized. SPOT was notified about Stuey and we knew he deserved another chance at a happy life. Stuey is now part of the SPOT family…
