Volunteer
We invite you to join us!
SPOT (Saving Pets One at a Time) is an all-volunteer group of friends who work together to save abandoned cats and dogs. When their owners can no longer care for them, when a shelter has no more space—SPOT steps up to the plate. Our primary focus is North San Diego County.
Volunteering can be many things. You can foster a dog or cat, help out at adoption events, transport dogs to the vet, make signs for adoptable animals, post on Facebook, conduct a towel drive or bottle feed a kitten. We need dog walkers, data entry people, and graphic designers. If you bake, sew or garden, we have a job for you!
We have no overhead. 100% of our money is spent to help the animals. We are a true grass roots organization formed because of a local need. We think globally—we act locally. If you’d like to help us help animals, please complete the Volunteer Application and send to us.
