Golden Girl’s forever chapter has officially begun!
When this sweet 11-year-old mama first arrived at SPOT Rescue, her weary frame carried the heavy weight of a difficult past. Used for backyard breeding until she was barely holding on, she still gave everything she had left to keep her puppies alive. We were in complete shock and disbelief that a dog of her advanced age could still be giving birth to litters of puppies!
When SPOT stepped in to rescue her and her little family, Golden Girl needed a mountain of healing. She battled severe skin and ear infections, hair loss, and respiratory illness. Then came another hurdle: a veterinarian discovered a mammary mass, requiring major surgery.
But senior dogs are made of pure resilience.
Today, Golden Girl is living the life she always deserved. Her incredible foster family wrapped her in endless love and made the ultimate choice—they officially adopted her! She will never know neglect again. Her days are now filled with warmth, safety, and deep love in the lap of her forever family. More importantly, her baby making days are over.
