08 Aug HUGE SUCCESS!!
A HUGE thank you to Jennifer Nemeth (SPOT dog Rex’s new mom)! Jennifer
wanted to make a difference and help the animals. She planned a fundraising
vegan BBQ lunch (thank you Tofurkey, Chipotle, Native Foods and Vons for the
donations), supply drive and adoption event for SPOT. She did this along
with the support of her church, Christ Lutheran La Mesa, and The Humane
Society of the United States (HSUS)- thank you to all of them for making
this happen.
They raised almost $800 for the animals, lots of food, toys, beds, leashes,
collars and more and so much exposure and love our animals (which hopefully
that will translate to some new homes).
We love our volunteers and adopters and could not do it without you. Thank
you to everyone for making this event a success!!
If you would like to plan a fundraiser (bake sale, lemonade sale, yard sale,
etc- we will be as creative as you want) for SPOT- just let us know.
