Sweet little Buster is safe—but he is not out of the woods yet. 

As of today, Buster is currently hospitalized in the ER. What the vet found is heartbreaking:

• Severe double ear infection (likely causing his head tilt)

• Eye infection

• Suspected aspiration pneumonia

• Underweight by 3–4 lbs

• Dehydrated—his gums were tacky and his tongue was turning blue upon intake 

 

 

The vet believes that without rescue, Buster likely would not have survived much longer. We got him out just in time. 

But now… we need YOUR help to save him.

 Current & Expected Medical Costs:

• ER visit: $3,000

• Hospitalization & oxygen: $1,000+ (and climbing)

• Upcoming surgery (neuter, airway,  soft palate surgery, and more): ~$3,000

This is a big, unexpected case, and we are asking for help from our SPOT village.
